Energized Services
Lineman often perform the majority of the above transmission and distribution (T&D) tasks in situations where it is beneficial for the power to remain on and the lines energized. These situations are highly dangerous without the proper training, equipment, and safety precautions. These energized punch list items can only be completed by using the following techniques:
- Barehand Method
- Hot Stick Method
- Rubber Glove Method
- High Induction Stringing
